Return to work coaching

Whether it is your first time returning to work, your second, third or fourth - it is a time when your needs can be at the bottom of the list. Coaching helps to both prioritise you in the present and invest in your future.

Return to work coaching is suitable for both Mums and Dads. You will get the most from it if you can complete the coaching as soon as possible to return to work date. Having said that - it is going to be useful whenever you do it.

Coaching is delivered over Zoom so coaching is an option wherever you live. If you are interested in learning more about Emma’s coaching approach and the coaching package that would be right for you - then please book a free 30 minute discovery call.

What exactly is coaching?

Great question! Coaching is about helping your move forward. It is about creating space for you to get clarity on what you want. Often these thoughts can remain spinning around in our minds and it is only when we talk them out loud, that they begin to make sense. Coaching is not therapy and it is not a place where you can get advice like you might from a consultant.

What is your style of coaching?

I bring to my coaching all my lived experiences. My first career of 25 years in corporate strategy, my 18 years of being a Mum and my Executive Coaching practice that I have been in since 2019. Depending on my coachee’s needs, I may use a blend of coaching and mentoring. Coaching to help them understand with more clarity around what know they need and mentoring to provide some ideas that other working parents have found useful to put into play.

By your side when the going gets tough

  • “I was lucky enough to work with Emma shortly after returning to work after having a baby. Experiencing what I describe as a “constant snowstorm”, I had lost myself between being a mum, an employee, and running a household, and feeling like I was failing at doing any of these very well. Emma has a wealth of knowledge and practical tips to help put out the immediate fires, but over the course of our programme she really helped me find myself again, figure out what was missing and how to muster the courage to ask for it. Coaching with Emma is like talking to an old friend; she’s funny, empathetic and so real – she ‘gets it’ because she’s been there, and I came away from every session feeling seen, heard and validated (and inspired!). Thank you Emma for all you’ve done for me!”

  • “When I first started working with Emma I was really grappling with returning to my career after becoming a mum. I had recently resigned from a job after only being in it for a few months, and I was feeling really lost about what I wanted to do, and whether I could find something that fitted into the new stage of life I was in. Emma helped me to connect to myself again and work out what was most important to me. Through her coaching, I have gained clarity, courage and confidence to find a role that works on my terms. Not only that, but Emma has helped me reconnect to the bigger dreams I have for my life. Funny, wise, kind and supportive - Emma is a fantastic coach."
